• This is truly an exciting and historic time here in our parish. In roughly 2 months, we have acquired over $680,000 in pledges and are more than 68% towards our goal. This is a testament to the generosity of the members of St. Valentine Church. I thank you for sharing my vision of a debt-free future for our parish. None of this would be possible without the help of our Leadership Committee, Team Leaders and Volunteers. I thank each of them.

    • Even though we have made tremendous progress, there is still much work to be done. We do have an overall campaign goal of $1 million. It will take everyone at our parish to reach this goal. Please know that gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated, as each helps bring us one stop closer towards our goal and guaranteeing a promising future for our faith community.

    • Currently, campaign volunteers are making calls to the members of the parish. You should have received the mailing with a personal request from me as well as information regarding the campaign. The volunteers are following up with you personally to give you the opportunity to raise any questions and make your commitments before the end of the month. Many have said that they would be dropping off their pledge at the rectory. I encourage you to do that but note that only a few of these pledges have arrived at the rectory thus far.

    • Our success thus far has been unbelievable. But, without the help of each of you, we cannot reach our potential. Please take next week to finalize your five year investment.

    • Volunteers will be following up over the next week. We will touch base again here at the masses in mid-July so that you have a final opportunity to make a financial commitment to the campaign. Again, the amount is not as important as the participation itself. I have taken on this mission in my short time here at St. Valentine and I ask that you help me guarantee that this Church remains open for the next 60 years and longer. Thank you for your support. Please continue to pray with me for the success of our campaign.

Happy Fourth of July and enjoy the fireworks.

    Fr. Paul
